Due to a generous donation from a family who has recently come to call St John the Baptist their parish home, we are on our way to becoming debt free! When the money that the parish has saved for the loan is accounted for, only $70,000 remains. Through this matching challenge all donations made to the Growth and Development Fund between the start of the fundraiser (Mar 17) and our Parish Feast Day , The Beheading of St John the Baptist (Aug 29) up to $35,000 will be matched.
This would mean we would have the funds to pay off the loan in full that the parish has been diligently working on for years. We hope that with your help we might be able to celebrate with a mortgage burning at our annual parish picnic.
