* We warmly welcome the newly ordained DEACON (DR.) JOHN SCHULTZ to the ranks of the clergy of our Archdiocese. Deacon John, a long-time, dedicated laity leader within the diocese, was ordained to the Holy Diaconate by His Eminence, Archbishop MELCHISEDEK, at the St. Nicholas Church (Weirton, WV) on December 16. The newly ordained deacon is attached to the Holy Altar at the Weirton parish. +AXIOS!+ We offer our warm congratulations as well to his wife Sonia, his daughter Sarah, and son Johnny.
* Please note that the chancery office will be CLOSED next week due to the Nativity of Christ Holyday. The usual weekly hours (Tuesday – Wednesday – Thursday) will resume on Tuesday, January 2. Please call my Ambridge parish office (724-266-5009) during this time period in the event of an emergency that requires immediate attention – I will return your voice mail as possible. Please note that I will not be in my office for regular hours. All other routine diocesan business inquiries will be answered during the first week of 2024, after New Year’s Day.
